For farmers markets

Compliance without the paperwork mountain.

A farmers market is only as good as its standards. Keep every producer’s documents in order and spend your time on the market instead.

The paperwork is the hard part

  • Lapsed certificates you find out about too late

A producer’s food hygiene certificate ran out last month. You learn this when they’re already set up and selling.

  • Reports for the council take days

Attendance, certification and income, pulled together by hand from three different spreadsheets.

  • Producer-only rules are hard to police

Your charter says locally grown or made. Working out who qualifies happens over email, one applicant at a time.

  • Applications drag on for weeks

An email, a form, a request for certificates, a reply. A new producer waits a month for a pitch.

How MRKT Manager helps

  • Expiry reminders

Every certificate and policy has an expiry date. The producer is reminded before it runs out, and you can see what’s due.

  • Documents kept with the producer

Certificates and licences sit on the producer’s profile, where your whole team can find them.

  • Application forms with your own questions

Ask ‘Is your produce locally grown?’ on the form, with follow-up questions that only appear when they’re relevant.

  • Records you can share

Send a council or landlord a read-only link to your compliance record, or export attendance and income as a spreadsheet.

  • Checklists for market day

Design your own opening and safety checks and fill them in on your phone as you walk round.

  • Bookings at risk, before the day

One page lists upcoming bookings where a document is missing, rejected or expires before the market.

Questions

How does MRKT Manager track producer certificates?

You set which documents are required, for the whole organisation or for individual markets. Producers upload each one with its expiry date, your team verifies or rejects it, and reminders go out before it expires.

Can I share compliance records with my council?

Yes. You can create a read-only share link for a market or for selected producers, or export the record. Share links expire after 14 days.

Can I screen applicants against a producer-only policy?

You build the application form yourself, with your own questions and conditional follow-ups, and publish it by link or embed it on your website. Each application is reviewed, rated and approved or rejected by your team.
